African lioness

The first seven photos here show the beginning of a hunt. A lioness spent quite a bit of time sniffing the wind, then slowly gathered several lionesses from around here and moved across the plains and in front of our safari vehicle. I'm not sure what they were intent on, but it was something. The lioness in the last picture is a different animal, one that was not happy about a male lion that was beginning to approach her... but she later changed her mind and "cooperated."
